Terms and Conditions

Applicable to transport within the borders of Denmark.

​

1. Scope of Application

​

These terms and conditions apply to all transports performed by Team Taarnby Transport.

The company exclusively transports goods within the borders of Denmark.

By booking via the website, email, or any other written agreement, the customer accepts these terms and conditions.

2. Basis of Agreement

​

A transport agreement is deemed concluded once the customer has completed the booking and received a confirmation.

Transport is performed in accordance with applicable Danish legislation and NSAB (General Conditions of the Nordic Association of Freight Forwarders).

3. Prices and Payment

​

All prices are stated in DKK excluding VAT, unless otherwise specified.

The price is calculated via our online price calculator and is determined based on the following categories:

  • Full pallets (1/1)

  • Half pallets (1/2)

  • Quarter pallets (1/4)

  • Industrial pallets

  • General cargo (Stykgods)

The price is based on the information provided by the customer at the time of booking, including weight and dimensions.

If the information provided does not correspond with the actual conditions, we reserve the right to invoice the difference as well as any applicable surcharges.

Payment terms are net cash, and full payment must be received before the transport commences.

The transport will only be initiated once the payment has been registered.

4. Customer Responsibility

​

The customer is responsible for:

  • Ensuring that all information regarding weight, dimensions, and content is correct.

  • Ensuring that the goods are properly packaged and suitable for transport.

  • Ensuring that the goods can be handled safely using standard transport equipment.

The sender must be present at pickup, and the recipient must be present at delivery.

If the customer provides written consent for the goods to be left unattended at the pickup or delivery address, this is done entirely at the customer’s own risk. In such cases, Team Taarnby Transport disclaims any liability for loss or damage occurring after unloading.

5. Delivery

​

Stated delivery times are indicative and not guaranteed.

Team Taarnby Transport is not liable for delays resulting from traffic conditions, weather, regulatory matters, strikes, technical issues, or other circumstances beyond the company’s control (force majeure).

The recipient must inspect the goods upon delivery.

6. Liability and Compensation

​

Transport is performed in accordance with applicable Danish legislation and NSAB.

The carrier's total liability is limited in accordance with applicable rules and is, in any event, limited to a maximum of 500 DKK per shipment, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

No compensation is provided for:

  • Indirect loss

  • Loss of business/operating loss

  • Loss of profit

  • Consequential damages

7. Complaints

​

Visible damage must be reported immediately upon delivery.

Concealed damage must be reported in writing no later than 7 days after delivery.

Failure to complain or late complaints may lead to the forfeiture of claims for compensation.

8. Dangerous Goods

​

Transport of dangerous goods may only take place by separate written agreement.

The customer is responsible for correct labeling, packaging, and documentation in accordance with applicable regulations.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

​

Any dispute between the parties shall be settled under Danish law at the company's local venue/jurisdiction.
